3 New Strawberry Leaves . . .

These leaves were done by couching 90% Silver Smooth Passing (size 4) in a circular pattern around each half of the leave.  I used the center vein as the dividing point for each half.

1 Silver Blossom . . .

Outline:  Silver Plate Super Pearl Purl
Outer Portion of Petal:  90% Silver Bright Check (size 6)
Inner Portion of Petal:  Silver Plated Rough Purl (size 4) chipping.  I cut the purl bigger than I normal would for chipping to create a slightly more graphic look to the chipping.
Stamens:  Silver Plated Super Pearl Purl with a 3mm Clear Bicone Swarovski Crystal.
Central Stamen:  Silver Plated Pearl Purl (No. 1) with a 4mm Clear Round Swarovski Crystal.
After finishing the Bright Check and Chipping, but before I outlined the petals with the pearl purl.

After finishing the Pearl Purl outline.

All finished.

2 Problem Blossoms . . .

This blossom was done with Silver Plated Rough Purl (size 4) and 90% Silver Smooth Purl.  I had a lot of trouble with the cutwork on this, as you can see in the first photo.  I'm not sure if it was an issue with how I was doing to cutwork or with the shape of the padding.  I ripped out the center 3 times, but I am still not happy with it.  If I have time I will be doing both of these over.

This blossom was done using Silver Plated Broad Plate (size 6).  As you can see, I had issues with the right petal.  I did it over a couple times, but I want to try it again.  The shape of the padding twists directions a couple times, and I believe this is what is causing the issues.  I think with the number of curves, I need to increase the number of times I tie off.

1 Acorn and 2 Strawberry Leaves . . .

I had been having trouble with the curved top of the acorn when I used plated over it.  I found a solution by sewing down 1 small piece of plate across the curve and then starting the longer piece of plate across the top.  This allowed me to get the whole curved shape covered with plate smoothly without have to cross over in a tangled manner.

Acorn Top:  Intertwined rows of S-ing, Silver Plated Rough Purl (size 4) and 90% Silver Smooth Purl (size 6) in a pattern of 2 Rough, 3 Smooth
Acorn Bottom:  Silver Plated Whipped Plate (size 6)

These 3 leaves are have been covered with couched 90% Silver Smooth Passing (no.6) in a modified cretan stitch pattern.  I used 2 strands of doubled smooth passing at the same time allowing them to cross down the center line from side to side.
